HISTORY (contains spoilers):Johnny first tried to mug Detective Fork at the docks while the latter was investigating the murder of Kraus Macaroni. Fork quickly put a stop to that and squeezed out the fact that Johnny had seen a fork commit the muder. Although Johnny hit the bricks as told to, he ran into Fork again while the Detective was undercover in the Chaindead Biker Gang. About a second later, Johnny accidentally blew his cover. Johnny survived the death of the gang at the hands of police and later had a front row spot for the battle between Captain Smash and Detective Fork and SuperFork. Shortly after that, the Detective tracked down Johnny to get some info on the location of the Copper Brothers.

Johnny Spork is a freak of the streets in Silver City, at least to most of the populace. He's an unnatural combination of spoon and fork, as interbreding is a no-no on Forkworld. His skin's even made of a strange substance, paler than silverware and more flexible. Johnny doesn't help his status by acting like a weirdo, too, living wherever the night takes him, hiding in alleys so he can occasionally steal a few bucks from pedestrians at knifepoint, and yelling excitedly with his stutter. He's truly a piece of work but strangely enough, Detective Fork maintains an ongoing interest in him and sometimes throws a hot meal or some cash his way when he needs the kind of street info that seems to find its way naturally into Johnny's ears.
